2024 EAST SIDE HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMY BASEBALL
We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking addition to our baseball program – the inception of the East Side High School Academy Baseball Team!
This new team is designed to complement the existing teams, providing an alternative opportunity for high school players who seek a unique and competitive baseball experience. The league will run from February to April, featuring games held at the East Cobb Baseball facilities against other academy teams.
Here are some key highlights of the East Side High School Academy Baseball Team:
Separate Team: The league will consist of a dedicated team, designed to supplement high school age travel kids, allowing players to play during the “regular” high school season while travel teams are dormant.
Enhanced Competition: Teams will face off against other academy teams, fostering an environment of heightened competition, skill development, and camaraderie. Season Duration: The league will run from February to April, allowing players to participate without conflicting with the travel baseball season.
Team structure and tryouts: There will only be 1 team this year and look to expand in future years based on talent level and interest. The team will not carry a large roster to allow for sufficient reps and play time for the boys. We are planning on 2 tryouts and working on a registration site as we speak. For now, make sure to mark your calendars:

Pony/Colt Field at Fullers Park *If weather comes into play, we will send out communication to all those registered.
There will be a $25 tryout fee due when registering. Players are welcome to come to both tryouts, or one of their choosing.
This initiative reflects our commitment to providing diverse opportunities for our players to grow and excel in their baseball journey. We believe that the East Side High School Academy Baseball team will not only enhance skills on the field but also create lasting memories and friendships.
