2026 East Side High School Academy Baseball

The East Side High School Academy Baseball Team is designed to complement our existing programs by offering a competitive and rewarding opportunity for high school age players seeking a different baseball experience during the spring season. This academy team allows players to stay on the field while traditional travel teams are inactive during the regular high school season.
The league will run from February through April, with games played at East Cobb Baseball facilities against other academy teams, creating a strong and competitive environment focused on development and team camaraderie.
Program Highlights
Dedicated Academy Team
This is a separate team built specifically to supplement high school age travel players, giving them the chance to compete during the spring high school season without conflicting with their travel commitments.
Competitive Development Environment
Players will compete against other academy teams, encouraging growth, game reps, and a high level of competition while building chemistry and friendships.
Season Timing
The February to April schedule allows players to continue playing without overlapping the traditional travel baseball calendar.
Team Structure and Tryouts
There will be one team for the 2026 season, with plans to expand in future years based on interest and talent level. The roster will be intentionally kept smaller to ensure meaningful reps and consistent playing time for all players.
