Welcome to the East Side Baseball family!
East Side Baseball was founded in 1970 and has grown to be one of Georgia’s largest and most respected youth baseball programs. East Side offers spring, summer and fall baseball for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced travel teams, with league play from ages 4 to 18. Over the years thousands of east Cobb families have spent countless hours at Fullers Park enjoying East Side Baseball and new, life-long friendships made.
East Side is great baseball and great fun. East Side teams have won numerous world series and state championships, and many East Side players have advanced to high school, college and professional baseball. Though it is competitive baseball, the primary emphasis is on sportsmanship and fun. Coaches are committed to being good role models, teaching good sportsmanship in addition to baseball skills.
East Side is a member of the national Positive Coaching Alliance, which prescribes “double-goal” coaching – winning is important, but teaching life lessons is more important. And, ESBA Bylaws require that players, coaches, umpires and spectators are treated with courtesy and respect at all times.
Fullers Park is our home, and we have some of the best fields and practice facilities of any county park. We continue to strive to make improvements for the enjoyment of the game and to provide top-notch resources for teaching fundamental baseball skills.
As you enter the park stay straight for the Pinto, Mustang and Softball fields. The Recreation Center and tennis courts are also in this direction.
Or as you enter make an immediate right for the Pony/Colt, Bronco, Shetland fields, the practice complex and central batting cages.
There are 2 concession stands with restrooms for each grouping of fields as well as parking areas for each.
East Side Baseball Association (ESBA) structures our leagues by dividing players by age groups and providing fields with graduated dimensions appropriate for their development as they mature. The leagues are:
Rookie – age 4 (Spring ONLY)
Shetland – ages 5 & 6 (Split leagues)
Pinto – ages 7 & 8
Mustang – ages 9 & 10
Bronco – ages 11 & 12
Pony – ages 13 & 14
Colt – ages 15 – 18
ESBA is a volunteer organization. A board of volunteer members is elected each year to oversee the preparations and operations of the association. The board selects a president and other important volunteer positions. Your willingness to participate in these volunteer positions will help keep ESBA one of the area’s best baseball programs.
Most of all, we are a family. Just ask some of the long time members whose children have played here since they began playing baseball… East Side Baseball no doubt has been a special part of their daily lives they will long cherish. You will soon become one of our extended family as you watch your child and their teammates grow into terrific individuals over their years here at the park. And who knows, they may just become a terrific baseball player as well!

Web Site – Online Registration & Announcements
Please check our website regularly as ESBA relies more on the web site rather than the mail for many important announcements such as skills evaluation, travel team opportunities, board voting and other special events. Most important events will be posted at www.eastsidebaseball.com about two weeks in advance. In addition, when possible, game or practice cancelations due to weather will be posted there.
If you have any questions about this process, more detailed information is posted on the East Side website (www.eastsidebaseball.com), or feel free to contact your league’s board rep or commissioner as noted on the website.
Friends of East Side Contributions
As in the past, contributions to East Side Baseball are welcomed and needed to continue park improvements. Recent contributions have funded new scorers stands, surface paving, a new pavilion, eight new batting cages, 60+ trees, field irrigation replacement, new safety netting, Mustang field renovations, bleacher covers, and Bronco and Pony/Colt infield replacement. Please consider adding an extra $25 or more when registering for spring season - there are many more projects needed. Cobb County’s Matching Grant Program can double your contribution helping us do more for the park. All contributions are tax deductible and will be appreciated!
